The flexible nature of the Skore data means it’s easy to do simple Activity Based Costing (ABC) and review this in third party analytics tool. In this example we have used Qlik Sense desktop.
To setup and use Skore in this way you will need to:
- Add durations to your activities. You can do this either using attachments or, in the video, we use backticks to highlight the duration. (Remember to select one unit of measurement and stick to it, it makes calculations much easier!)
- Add cost to the notes field against the role.
- Connect your analytics tool to the .skore file. Skore data is stored in XML so should be easy to interpret. Alternatively you can export the data using Analytics and export to a spreadsheet.
- Create scripts to extract the data you need for your analytics tool
